Rea Valley Tractors Announces Closure of Newport Depot
Rea Valley Tractors has announced the closure of its Newport depot, effective from 29th November 2024, as part of the company’s continued efforts to strengthen and optimise its operations across Shropshire and Staffordshire.
This decision follows its recent expansion, including the acquisition of the Russells Cubley depot, which significantly enhances the company’s capacity to deliver exceptional aftersales support and service. Rationalising depot locations ensures Rea Valley Tractors is well-positioned to adapt to the evolving challenges and opportunities within the agricultural industry, both now and in the years ahead.
Rea Valley Tractors commitment to supporting the agricultural community in this area remains as strong as ever. “We recognise this is a significant change, but it is one that enables us to better serve our customers,” Matt Mulligan, Managing Director at Rea Valley Tractors commented. “Our enhanced capacity at Cubley and Shrewsbury, alongside an increased field team presence, allows us to deliver the reliable, high-quality support our customers expect, while continuing to meet the demands of a rapidly changing industry.”
This strategic move enables Rea Valley Tractors to prioritise improving the overall customer experience, ensuring that clients continue to receive the dependable, responsive, and expert support necessary to keep their operations running efficiently.
Rea Valley Tractors extends its heartfelt thanks to the dedicated team at Newport, whose hard work and commitment have been instrumental to the depot’s success. The majority of the Newport team will transition to other Rea Valley Tractors locations, ensuring continuity of service for customers.
The company also wishes to express its gratitude to its loyal customers in the region. Rea Valley Tractors remains steadfast in its commitment to the area and confident in its ability to provide outstanding support through its expanded network and alternative depots.
