The team at Rea Valley Tractors welcomed over 60 guests to a technical event at their Sudbury depot on the 8th March with the theme “Go Further with your Forage”. Organised in conjunction with Kuhn Farm Machinery the event covered topics including the film binding process, and the pros and cons of strip tillage. Kuhn’s Grassland specialist Rhodri Jenkins talked customers through film binding versus conventional bale wrapping, and Area Sales Manager John Hulland discussed their Maxima Precision Drill used in combination with a Striger Strip Tillage Cultivator. RVT also welcomed Stuart Anthony as a guest speaker; Stuart is from BPI who manufacture Kuhn’s silage bale wrap.

The Sudbury team put on an impressive display oh Kuhn machinery inside their workshop including FBP 3135 Combi Baler with film binding, VB 3160 Variable chamber baler, SB 1290ID Large Square Baler, iBio combination baler, Maxima 3 & Striger Strip Till Cultivator; plus a front and rear mowers mounted a JCB Fastrac 4220 iCON.  Guests were able to explore the machines whilst enjoying some refreshments after the informative presentations.
